About us

We are Alessandra, Adriano and Andrea and we live and work in the country, as our grandparents did and our forefathers before us. The life of a farmer is hard and not remunerative, but the contact with nature and the open-air life, following the rythm of the seasons and the daylight hours, give us strength, energy and serenity. We were born and grew in the country, we studied and worked in town, but after that we decided to come back to live close to plants and animals and, why not, to human beings too, when "human". We love the peace, the silence and the harmony of this earth and we do our best to make our guests feel all of this and take delight in the peculiarities of Galealpe, while respecting the rules of community life and courtesy. Here you will find neither telephones nor televisions in bedrooms and not even hydromassage bath-tubs or wireless connection to chat in the garden. The lawn is not an English green, but is "Tuscan". We give essential services, comfort and care. In conclusion, it is a real farmhouse (agriturismo), in fact you can participate in agricultural work (for example in November during the olive harvest or in spring time to prune the olive-trees). Therefore, if you love nature, art, gastronomy, typical products, walks, dinners in good company, Galealpe is the right place to spend your holiday.

Rooms

The farmhouse has its origins in the late 18th-century and it is surrounded by 20 hectares of olive groves and oak woods. The owners live in the farmhouse and offer accomodation in two comfortable apartments that each sleep five people and have recently been finely restored and furnished.

•It is requested a minimun stay of two nights.

•The prices include cost of electricity, hot and cold water, gas, weekly change of bed-linen, bath towels, table-cloth, dish-clothes and final cleaning. Only the heating cost will be calculated according to amount consumed by a gas counter.

•A caution of 50% of total amount is required on reservation.
