FATTORIA DI POGGIOPIANO is situated on the slopes of the hills facing the Arno valley, in the proximity of Florence. The vineyards and the olive orchards cover an area of 17 hectares, facing the sun, at an altitude of approximately 150 metres a.s.l.
In recent years the estate has been completely restructured, regarding the cultivation, by planting selected varieties of vines, and olives. The countryhouse have been restored obtaining lovely small apartments. Poggiopiano Farm lies only 7 kms to the east Florence yet fully immersed in the greenery of the hills overlooking the Arno Valley, amidst olive-groves and vineyards facing the sun. In the Village of Girone, 900 metres from the farm, the local bus for the Centre of Florence leaves approximately every 15 minutes.

10 Apartaments from 2 to 5 people located in a typical Tuscan farmhouse: all the rooms have central heating and some have open fire.
A new swimming pool - 16 mtrs x 7,50 mtrs - panoramic on the Arno's valley , with deck-chair and garden forniture is at one's disposal of the Guest.
A wash machine is available for the Guest (extra).

           

From Motorway A1 ( Milano-Roma) , exit Firenze Sud. At the traffic-lights at the end of the link road turn right to FORLI'.
After 3 km you will reach GIRONE ; 300 metres after the only traffic-lights turn left, and follow Via dei Bassi for 6oo mtrs, until you’ll find n. 7.Turn left and after 100 mtrs you’ll arrive to the apartments .
The Farm is situated 400 metres forward in via dei Bassi at n. 13.
