Agriturismo San Michele is situated in the so-called 'Alta Maremma', a vast area of wild nature dotted with medieval villages.
The hilly landscape (over 500 m above sea level) is ideal for hiking, mountain bike tours and horse riding on a network of well marked trails that thread their way through woods of oak and chestnut trees.
The short distance to the coast (37 km) brings the most attractive tuscan beaches within easy reach.
This priviledged position makes it easy to reach the tourist attraction (cultural centres) such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Massa Marittima, Volterra and San Gimignano or to explore the ancient villages, and the remains of the etruscan era or indeed the ancient abbeys (San Galgano is only about 20 km away).
Agriturismo San Michele is a small group of comfortable double rooms and cottages situated amongst old oak trees, roughly one km outside of Boccheggiano, a small village sitting on top of a hill, with a splendid views, where one of the gates to the Mining Park of these metalliferous hills was recently opened.

The cottages are placed in a fenced park of about 3 hectares of old oak forest, meadows and an olive grove: it's ideal for outdoor activities or for reading a book in the shade of a tree. Children will find an ideal environment for fun and games
All the cottages have been modernized recently, they are in in a rural tuscan style with wooden beams, open fireplaces and terracotta floors, each has its own bathroom, kitchen and independent heating.
Agriturismo San Michele is the ideal place for getting away from it all, to find peace of mind, but also the energy that comes from such beautiful contact with nature.

The Agriturismo San Michele has a sunny swimmingpool (m 6 x 12) in its delightful garden, and a small restaurant, where you can enjoy our traditional tuscan cooking and special meals for children, who are our favourite guests, or your continental breakfast, all made with local produce.

           

From the north (Brennero-Modena-Bologna):
