This small holiday apartment complex has been converted from the traditional Italian farm of "Tesorino". It is set on a small hill, among olive groves and vineyards, overlooking the wonderful rural scenery of Tuscany with the sea in the background. Here you can spend your holidays in a real farm, where the main products are the “extra virgin olive oil” and our wine. You can have a relaxing walk in the wood as far as the small lake where ducks float, swim in the pool among the green, or read a book on the terrace with a fine view. Tennis-table, children’s playground and mountain-bikes are also available.
Just over 1 mile from Tesorino is the village of Valpiana, the small historic town of Massa Marittima with one of the most beautiful Italian squares is a little over 4 miles away, whilst the coastal resort of Follonica, with it’s long beaches bordered by pine woods stretching around the bay, is 8 miles away. The Accesa Lake (4 miles) is only the nearest Etruscan site: in the surroundings you will find many of them.
At Tesorino pets are welcomed with only some minor constraint: they cannot access the pool area and must be hold by the leash when you walk around the fields and woods, as in the surroundings there are many wild animals.
Since April 2007 the farm is energy self-sustainable, as we installed a Photovoltaic plant for the production of electricity from the sun. At the end of 2007 we had produced about 30.000 kWh and so we could save 18 Ton of CO2!

This Manor House is divided into three apartments: apartment 1, apartment 2 and apartment 3

These two cottages (Villette) are each divided into two similar apartments, all on the ground floor: apartments 4/5/6/7.
Until about 50 years ago the Farm was crossed by a railway linking Massa Marittima to Follonica. Today the only part left is this traditional Coachman's House that has been divided into two apartments: apartment 8/a and apartment 8/b. These two apartments can be interconnected thereby obtaining a large single independent house.

           

If you come from Genova: follow the highway "A12/E80 Genova-Rosignano" towards Rosignano for 180 km. Exit in Rosignano and follow "Statale 1 Aurelia" towards Grosseto-Roma for 60 km and exit when arrived in "Follonica Est". Procede on "Statale 323" towards Massa Marittima and exit when arrived at the gate "Valpiana". Cross the small village of Valpiana and then follow local road signs.
Follow the motorway "Firenze-Siena" for 80 km up to Siena. Procede on "Statale 223/E78 Siena-Grosseto" towards Grosseto for 80 km. Once in Grosseto, take the "Statale 1 Aurelia" towards Livorno for about 45 km and exit when arrived in "Follonica Est". Procede on "Statale 323" towards Massa Marittima and exit when arrived at the gate "Valpiana". Cross the small village of Valpiana and then follow local road signs.
Take the highway "A12/E80 Roma-Civitavecchia" towards North and exit at the last gate "Civitavecchia". Take the "Statale 1 Aurelia" towards Grosseto/Livorno. Once in Grosseto, continue for another 45 km and exit when arrived in "Follonica Est". Procede on "Statale 323" towards Massa Marittima and exit when arrived at the gate "Valpiana". Cross the small village of Valpiana and then follow local road signs.
