In the ancient thermal city of Bagni di Lucca, between Lucca and Garfagnana’s area, La Torre is situated on a dominating position in the valley, formed by the confluence of the Lima stream with the Serchio river.
The building’s origins are in the 1500, and for many years was the house of the wealthy Clarke sisters from Minnesota (USA), then became a center of studies of the Bologna University.
Abandoned in the early 90’s, La Torre was bought by the Tintori family and after many years of work, today it has returned to its ancient splendour thanks to a careful job of restoration of the agriculture and its buildings.
During your summer stay you can use the swimming pool, we use the advanced “sea salt electrolysis” disinfecting system that avoids the use of chlorine.
You also have the illuminated bowls area, the table-tennis, mountain bikes, a coin washing machine, internet point with wireless area, playground for children and two barbecue.
At the characteristic restaurant you can have breakfast or dinner with special typical menus prepared with what we produce in the farm and the local products.

Surrounded by olives and chestnuts trees, Paolo and Laura are glad to welcome you in the six apartments (from 42 to 74 square meters) or in the five bedrooms, with elegant furnished in the Tuscan rural style and built in the constructions which were once used by the farmer.
Four of them are called “ALLOGGIO” composed of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a living room and a small kitchen.
The other two apartments are called “CASA” with more than 70 square meters, composed of two twin bed rooms, a bathroom, a large living room and a kitchen.
All the apartments have an independent entrance as well as a table placed outside, heating, Sat television, telephone, a comfortable couch-bed and some with a fireplace.
All the bedrooms have private bathroom, heating and air conditioning, mini bar, sat television.

           

Highway A11 for Florence – Pisa Nord, Lucca est exit. Cross Lucca direction Bagni di Lucca and/or Abetone indication, continue in the SS12 for Km 22 (direction Bagni di Lucca and/or Abetone). In the SS12 arrival in Chifenti (fraz. di Borgo a Mozzano) turn to the left in the SP445 (Stadio - Aulla indication). After mt 600 turn to the right and cross Fornoli (Stadio indication), continue on the avenue with trees up to the Stadium (on the left). 100 mt after the Stadium, to turn to the left (Azienda Agricola La Torre AGRITURISMO indication). To climb for around Km. 1 later the small inhabited area.
