About us

The agriturismo La Rocca della Magione, located in the splendind hills of the Chianti area near Siena, immersed between vineyards and century-old olive trees, offers you splendid nature hikes and the chance to relax and read a book at the side of the pool, sipping a glass of Chianti wine among the oleander bushes, in the atmosphere of a real Tuscan countryside oasis. Those who love sports holidays can play tennis at the nearby courts in Quercegrossa, rent our mountain bikes for outings along the numerous marked paths nearby, enjoy trekking, go horseback riding at the nearby stables "La Locaia", just a few minutes' from where we are.

A 50 sq. meter lower story apartment, reached by a short stairway with a small balcony. The apartment is made up of an entryway-living room with double sofa bed, cooking niche, one bathroom with shower, and one double bedroom with sleeper chair. Independent entrance.

Apartment the MELOGRANO
A 36 sq. meter ground floor apartment made up of living room, cooking niche, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower. It looks out onto a patio for sunbathing and total relaxation. Independent entrance.

The inn: The price for a full meal is 20 Euros each person, ask about the menu. At the inn you can enjoy Chianti wine and our typical Tuscan cuisine.

High Season: from 1st July to 31st August + Holidays*
Mid Season: from 1st April to 30th June + 1st September to 31st October
Low Season: from 3rd November to 31st March
*New Years, Epiphany, Easter, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June, 2nd November, 8nd December and Christmas

Children’sreduction
- under 6 years old: free
- from 6 to 12 years old: 50% less
- over 12 years old: full price

Additional bed
15 euro more for night each person added in the sofa bed (adults), 8 euro (children 6 to 12 years old)

Price include: electricity, water, gas, heating, bed and bathroom linen, final cleaning, wood, fireplace, swimming pool, barbecue, laundry.

Check-in: from 4pm to 7pm
Check-out: at 10am.

- Cancellation policy: from the booking’s day to 0 day before arrival: 30% of total prise.

Where we are

By car
- From Florence:
Take the Badesse exit from the Siena-Florence highway and follow the signs for Lornano; from the town of Lornano, follow the signs for Quercegrossa as far as the Strada della Magione which branches off to the right.
Follow the road to the farmhouse “La Rocca della Magione”, about 200 meters on the right.

- From Siena:
Follow the signs “SS222 Chiantigiana” or the signs for Quercegrossa. Once past the village of Quercegrossa, follow the signs for Lornano as far as the Strada della Magione which branches off to the left.
