In the tuscan countryside a few kilometers from Siena, in the community of Murlo, Villa Righino and La Casina welcome you. Villa Righino The villa is a new structure, with typical Tuscan cotto flooring. The large windows look out on the hilly landscape with Mount Amiata as a backdrop. The well-lit living room is furnished with easy chairs, sofa bed and television. Dining room and kitchen are accessed from the living room and are well-equipped, including dishwasher and iron. The two bedrooms can sleep from four to five people with the possibility for additional baby-bed. The bathroom is spacious with shower and washing machine. In front there is a private yard with comfortable table and chairs in wrought iron for relaxing breakfasts and dinners in the open air. Apartment "La Casina" The apartment "La Casina" is located in the old part of the small town of Vescovado di Murlo. The apartment has been restructured recently. It is a small and comfortable accomodation. The entrance leads into a living room with tv and sofa. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. The bedroom has a queen size bed that can be exchanged for two single beds on request. The bathroom has a spatious shower and is equipped with a washing machine.

           

Villa Righino and the apartment "La Casina" are 25 km from Siena, an art city famous for the Palio, a medieval horse race. Additional sights in the vicinity include Montalcino, 20 km, famous for its "Brunello" wine, and evocative San Galgano, 18 km. The medieval cities of Pienza, Monteriggioni, and San Gimignano are also easily accessible. To combine the pleasure of the view with the flavours of Tuscany, the surrounding country offers numerous organic farms where you can buy wine, olive oil, honey, and other typical products. Maremma, on the Tuscan seaside, offers the possibility for day trips to visit national parks or relax on the beach. To add well-being to wandering, the natural hot springs at "Terme di Petriolo," famous since Roman times, are just a few kilometers from Villa Righino and La Casina.
