Approach from the North / Florence.

Exit the A1 motorway at Firenze Certosa and take the first right at the roundabout which leads to the Florence to Siena dual carriageway. Leave this at the Colle val d'Elsa Nord. At the junction take the left turn towards Colle, now follow the road along for about 2 Km until you have reached the town and take a right turn signposted to Volterra San Gimignano. Follow this road uphill past the ancient town on your left for about another two km until you go past an Agip petrol station, 50 metres further take a right turn signposted Residence Tana de' Lepri. Well done you, have made it.

Approach from the South / Siena.

Take the Siena to Florence dual carriageway and exit at Colle Val d'Elsa (the exit after Monteriggioni). Turn left on exiting the dual carriageway, when you reach the next T junction right keeping on this road that takes you down hill through the new part of the town until you reach a main road, at this junction turn left towards Colle. Now follow the road along for about 2 Km until you have reached the town and take a right turn signposted to Volterra San Gimignano. Follow this road uphill past the ancient town on your left for about another two km until you go past an Agip petrol station, 50 metres further take a right turn signposted Residence Tana de' Lepri. Well done you, have made it.
